SaaS vs self hosted, what is the difference?: Both provide great experiences for our clients. With SaaS the data infrastructure is provided by Biotensis, and the client just needs internet access. In a self hosted solution, the software runs on the client infrastructure, requiring its own support and maintenance. A self hosted solution allows for a more custom deployment and local integration with its already existing systems. For most clients, SaaS is the better choice.
Is it possible to integrate with other systems if we chose a SaaS option?: Our SaaS products securely interface with other software solutions over the internet. So, from our perspective, the answer is positive. That said, not all products our client have allow for integration outside the local network.
Do self hosted solutions evolve?: Our solutions have a maintenance service embedded during the contract and, unless the client specifies otherwise, self hosted deployments will benefit from the same software improvements as the SaaS version does.

Is Progastro hosted in the cloud?: Yes, Progastro runs as SaaS on Azure or AWS, accessible from any modern device. On-premise deployment is available for institutions that require it.
Does it integrate with hospital systems?: Yes. Progastro speaks HL7 and FHIR for clinical interoperability and exposes a REST API for everything else.
Can I try Progastro before committing?: Yes. We offer trial and demonstration options tailored to your organization's needs. Does Flow replace our hospital information system?: No. Flow orchestrates the patient episode and integrates with the HIS or EHR you already run, it adds the workflow layer, not a parallel record.
Which HL7 messages does Flow speak?: ADT for admissions and demographics, SIU for scheduling, ORM for orders, ORU for results, plus FHIR R4 resources where the receiving system supports them.
Can Flow integrate with SPMS services?: Yes. Flow is designed for the Portuguese public-health context and connects with SPMS-managed services and RSE; it works equally well alongside private HIS infrastructure.
How does the patient experience the workflow?: Patients book and confirm online, fill anamnesis forms before the visit, receive their reports, and reach the clinic through a single portal, without learning a new app per facility.

Is VisionAI a replacement for clinical judgment?: No. VisionAI is a decision-support tool that surfaces and scores findings, the clinician remains responsible for diagnosis.
Does VisionAI work with my endoscopy hardware?: VisionAI is multi-vendor by design. We confirm compatibility during the demo.
How is patient data handled?: Image processing runs against your PACS/RIS infrastructure under your existing data-protection regime; we don't move clinical data outside the perimeter you operate.
